The requirement for good health and safety practices in the workplace is enshrined in law but as importantly is a responsibility shared by all. Business owners and managers must ensure that policies and procedures are in place to protect not only workers but also visitors to the premises.

This ‘level 3’ qualification is designed for team leaders, supervisors and also anyone who needs a broad understanding of health and safety issues. There are no pre-requisites for entry to the course, however attendance at a ‘Basic Health & Safety’ course (level 1 qualification) would be beneficial.

- To clarify the roles and responsibilities of individuals, supervisors and management in health and safety
