Infection Control

Description

This course is designed for those who wish to develop their knowledge of infection control practices to ensure the safety of themselves and colleagues. This is an introductory course aimed at those persons who have not previously attended such a course or are looking to refresh their knowledge.

Course Objectives

On completion of the training, successful candidates should be able to::

• understand the key infection control issues
  
• encourage a 'safe practice' culture both for individuals and the workplace
  
• to identify those elements fundamental for preventing the spread of infection
  
• identify what action to take when infection control procedures fail

On successful completion of the course you will receive an attendance certificate.
